What should I do if my artwork arrives damaged?

All prints are insured during transit to cover damage or loss. Please check all deliveries thoroughly on arrival as once the delivery has been signed for it is no longer insured by the courier, and is the sole responsibility of the customer. In the unlikely event that the artwork arrives damaged, contact us on +44 (0)7866 430979 or by email within 24 hours of the goods being received. Options upon return of the original artwork includes: replacing the damaged work (in the case of multiple editions being available), credit towards another purchase, or a full refund.

What if I don’t like my print when I receive it?

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, please inform us by email or telephone within 3 working days of receiving your artwork. Providing that the artwork is returned in the original packaging and condition you can choose to either receive a replacement (where numbers allow), a credit towards another purchase or a full refund. All refunds are processed within 28 days.

Please keep your receipt / proof of postage for any returned item(s) as we cannot consider a claim for returned goods lost in transit without one. We will respond to all complaints within a maximum of 5 working days. Refunds are based on the currency of the original payment. Any loss in conversion rate fees is due to normal market fluctuation and we cannot reimburse you for any loss due to conversion rate differences.

What are artist’s proofs or AP?

When a photographer/ art-director/artist releases a new image as a limited edition print, test prints are made, often in different sizes or on different types of paper before an edition is created. These pre-edition prints are known as Artist Proofs (AP) or in some cases, Printer’s Proofs (PP). Sometimes an AP is made for a special reason i.e. for a charity auction.

How many AP’s are made?

An AP is approximately 10% of an edition i.e. if an edition is 50 there is likely to be 5 artist proofs and so on. Artist Proofs are customised in a way to distinguish them from those in the edition. Once the edition is sold out, these numbered or un-numbered Artist Proofs are sold for an end-of-edition price. Being customised or rare they are highly collectable.
