How it works

Online photography mentoring is ideal for the intermediate – advanced photographer who wants even more detailed feedback on their work. We can look at a broader range of your work online with the added convenience of being able to share files in realtime.  This regularly takes the form of marked-up copies of your photos so as to constructively analyse their composition, execution and intention. This way I can make suggestions and we can discuss what’s working and what isn’t and what positives could be gained by different approaches.

The aim of online mentoring is to help you refine your own sense of visual storytelling. Whether it’s analysing individual photographs, on-going projects or asking technical questions, online mentoring via Skype is a convenient way of getting feedback when you need it. If you are not able to meet up  (as in a 1-2-1 Photography Tuition session) but still feel that you would benefit from talking to a working professional then online photography mentoring is the answer. Like my 1-2-1 Photography Tuition, the time we spend together is solely aimed at addressing any questions you might have and turning any weaknesses into strengths.

How many hours do I need?

Gift Vouchers. If you would like a portfolio review or help with a large photo project then I would recommend sending me some information ahead of your session (please use this link). That said, if you’d prefer a first-look portfolio review so as to simulate a photo agency interview, I can do that as well. When sending files ahead of a session please send either a lo-resolution jpg (72dpi) or a small PDF (under 5Mb) if it is a series or photo project.

That said, if you are looking at this page and considering buying some online photography mentoring as a birthday or Christmas present please contact me here or call +44 (0)7866 430979 / +49 176 6572703.

Once you have decided how many hours you would like, simply add to them to your shopping cart by clicking the ‘buy now’ button. When you have paid for your Online Photography Mentoring you will be redirected to a page to confirm what you would like to achieve, or turn your purchase into a gift with a personalised gift voucher.

When can I start?

After any purchase you will be contacted within 24 hours to organise a convenient date / time for your session. This will take the form of a phone call or email, so please make sure to fill in all the detail on the information page after you have made your purchase. If you need to change your details or add any extra information to your form you can access the information page here.

If you have any questions about online photography mentoring please check out our frequently asked questions page or ask me here.

Looking forward to seeing you in action.
