Private Shoot FAQ’s
What is the structure of a Private Shoot?
There isn’t one. Individual photography coaching can be about any subject or person you wish, however we would request that you submit details of the areas you would like to cover beforehand so we can bring any relevant equipment necessary.
How can I choose / increase the number of hours I want?
After clicking the ‘Buy Now’ button you will be taken to the Paypal checkout area where you can type in the quantity of hours you would like.
Can I pay in Euros, Dollars or a different currency?
Yes. Provided it is accepted by Paypal that should be fine. All Paypal currency conversions are done live so that the rate always the date when you made your purchase.
Do I have to have a Paypal account to pay for a shoot?
No, you don’t. In the checkout area, underneath the Paypal login there is a link entitled “Pay with Debit or Credit card”. Simply click this link and you will be able to pay using the normal section of commonly available cards (i.e. VISA, Delta, Electron, MasterCard, Eurocard, American Express, Discover and Maestro cards).
If desired, how many hours are there in a day-long session?
8 hours. The start time is flexible as is when we pause for lunch.
What is the maximum ‘per hour’ bookable session time?
Normally not more than 8 hours. If you are looking for a long session you might want to consider paying for a day long discounted price for 8 hours for only the cost of just over 6. If you would like a longer session than normal or split the amount up over several days please contact us here to check availability.
General FAQ’s
When do you run your sessions?
Shoots will take place on a mutually agreed time / date prior to the session on either weekday or weekend. Bank holiday shoots are available by special arrangement.
Can I choose a specific date when booking ?
Yes, you can specify a preferred date to the comments box as you proceed through the Paypal payment pages. Better still, please send an email to check availability prior to booking. If you are interested in buying a buying a gift voucher on behalf of somebody please contact us using this form.
Where do you do your shoots?
Mainly in Berlin, Germany unless otherwise specified. If you would like to arrange training in another location or country please contact us using this form.
Is there a minimum age?
Children less than 18 yrs old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during their course as per our child protection policy. You’ll be pleased to also know there’s no maximum age limit. We encourage parents to get actively involved in their children’s passion for photography.
Can I choose a specific date for my shoot before booking?
Yes. Simply email us in advance of placing your order or give us a call on 07866 430979 to check date/time availability.
What about adverse weather conditions / cancellations?
Generally speaking, where it is a practical I try to shoot in all weathers so rain and bad weather won’t necessarily affect your ability to take a great photograph. In addition to this we keep in contact with clients up until the day of shoot in case there are any exceptional changes that we feel might compromise your shoot experience. In the event of a postponement we will move your shoot to the next mutually convenient date or offer you a full refund as per our refund policy.
