London Freeze Festival 2012

The London Freeze International Snowboard & Ski Big Air Competition has returned to the iconic landmark of Battersea Power for another sports festival and series of live concerts. Once again the London Freeze snow jump made with water and liquid nitrogen towers over the fans below, as a selection of the world’s best freestyle snowboarders and skiers launch themselves high into the London skyline. Everything here is on hand from food stalls, half-pipes for skateboarders and board shops for the pro riders to get their boards regularly waxed.

Once the competition has died with the sun, the remaining festival-goers gather in front of the sound stage to be blasted with sound light from a heady line up of DJ’s and live acts including Public Enemy as headliners.
